Professor Toshifumi Uemura shares with us a story and a song that spreads peace
Peace Through Music

Toshifumi Uemura is an associate professor at Japan Lutheran College who was studying to be a Shinto priest for 10 years when his master told him that he should follow Jesus.  Toshi's love for all people and his desire to follow after God has given him insight into many things.

In this video he shares his heart with us about the role of Japan in World War II and how it has affected his life.  Recorded during a recent trip to Hawaii to work on God's Fingerprints in Japan 2, Toshi is joined on guitar by one of his students who was also visiting the islands with her family.

His message is simple, music brings peace if offered in the proper spirit.  Here he shares a story and a song that has impacted his life and the lives of many.

Are we willing to lay down our pride to see peace in the world?  Are we willing to accept responsibility and be humble and brave enough to say we were wrong and apologize?  Can we really speak peace over people and mean it?  Here it is real.
